About AWIS

African Women in Sustainability (AWIS) is a not-for-profit organization fostering professional networks for African women working to protect the environment. Our mission is to foster a professional network for women working across various industries or studying in any aspect of protecting the environment who feel that there is a benefit in creating a forum for environment and sustainability professionals. This includes professionals working for private companies, government departments, not-for-profit organisations and as consultants.
